Dylan Ceglie
Dylan is almost five years old and has a passion for motorsports that goes far beyond what one would normally expect from a child his age.
Even before he could truly read, he recognized car brands and models with astonishing ease. Ferraris, supercars, details, names, and shapes—what is just a "car" to many children is, for Dylan, something to observe, remember, and recognize.
Then came the karts.
First came curiosity, then his first laps, leading up to driving solo when he was just four. Today, Dylan trains on the track, gradually learning about braking, racing lines, kart control, and track etiquette. His competitive journey has yet to begin; we don’t want to call him a "little champion" before he actually becomes one. We want to tell the story of the journey to discover just how far he can go.
Dylan is a neurodivergent child on the autism spectrum. It is a part of who he is, but not something we want to turn into a limitation or a defining label.
In his case, the extraordinary attention he pays to what he loves, his visual memory, and the intensity with which he pursues his passion have found a special outlet in the world of motorsports.
The track is teaching him lessons that go beyond speed: focus, independence, respect for rules, emotional regulation, and the ability to gradually tackle new challenges.
His story isn't about a child who needs to prove he is special. It is the story of a child we want to give the chance to discover just how far he can go.
