Francesca Remigio
Francesca Remigio—known in the motorsport world as LadyDriver and RacingFrancy—is a young racing driver from the Abruzzo region (born in 2007) and a native of Francavilla al Mare. Her passion for motorsport began early; she entered the racing world at just seven years old, building solid experience in karting.
Her competitive journey began in the 60cc class, progressing to the 125cc single-speed category and subsequently the 125cc KZ six-speed class. This experience allowed her to develop the technical and driving fundamentals that would prove crucial for her later transition to car racing.
In 2023, she qualified to compete in Formula and Touring Car categories and began training in open-wheel cars, gaining experience behind the wheel of a BMW Formula 4 and a Formula Suzuki. During this period, she joined the Esperienze in Pista driver program and the Scuderia Mistral Racing team.
She made her official car racing debut in June 2024 in the Italian Formula Challenge Championship at the Naples International Circuit in Sarno, driving a Yacar-Suzuki VST-600 for Scuderia Gretaracing. In her first race, she secured third place in the women's standings and seventh place in the Kart Cross category.
Throughout the 2024 season, she continued to broaden her experience by driving various types of vehicles—including Formula cars, Touring cars, the Seat Ibiza Cup, Subaru Impreza Rally, BMW, and Peugeot 106 Rallye—and participated in a four-hour endurance event in a Twingo Cup car.
In 2025, her career path is increasingly focused on Touring cars. Francesca made her debut in the Trofeo Italia Classico driving a Seat Ibiza Cup and secured her first class podium at the Autodromo dell'Umbria in Magione.
The 2026 season marked another step forward. Francesca continued in the Trofeo Italia Classico behind the wheel of the Seat Ibiza Cupra DSG, fielded by Mistral Racing and supported by the Esperienze in Pista project.
In her season debut at Magione, she took second place in her class, fighting her way up the field after a difficult qualifying session. At the championship's second round—also held at Magione on May 3, 2026—she achieved an even more significant result: taking second place overall in the #14 Seat Ibiza Trophy car.
Her journey reflects growth built through diverse experiences, competition, and continuous technical training—spanning everything from karting and formula cars to Formula Challenge and touring cars.
Today, Francesca Remigio continues her racing career with Mistral Racing and Esperienze in Pista, working to turn the experience she has gained on the track into new results and milestones in motorsport.
